BRENTANO AND THE ARISTOTELIAN TRADITION – INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL

The journal aims to reconstruct his thought both under the profile of his formation and the influences that Aristotelianism and Thomism exerted on him as well as under that of the effects of his work on later philosophical traditions, especially with regard to analytic philosophy and phenomenology.

Particular attention will be paid to the original contributions offered by Brentano to metaphysics, psychology, theology and ethics. It is also planned to edit some of Brentano’s unpublished writings from the courses he taught in Würzburg starting from the one on his history of philosophy.
